Furthermore;  from old abandoned farmsteads to hobby farms to garden plots,  to glens,  to meadows  and fields,  to old log clearings:  survival  circumstances/options can be flexible, exciting,  and adaptable.    Or maybe you just want to get away.   I've sold wilderness and  country property here in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for over 30 years--everything from whole lakes to square miles to 5-acre parcels to small spring creeks, and now farmland. 

Back in the 70's, I was part of the "back-to-the-land" movement.  This trend was fueled by a desire to be more self-reliant, to be closer to nature. I can sense that this demand for farmland and other survival country property may be returning.  I myself have used alternative energies for about eight years now on my off-the-grid 80 acres.

I'm focusing my skills and experience on the Buyer-Broker approach,to serve clients who want to change their life-style and move to the land, or just purchase land, etc.

McCormick Grand Camp is a unique preservation project that came to life some years ago. This section is sure to please log cabin lovers, as well as those interested in the restoration of these historic log cabins, which once graced the wilderness as an Upper Peninsula "great camp."
