DNR
This organization is too bureaucratic for the Four Parks project, although I do absolutely need its help and cooperation. The Legislators must tell it to cooperate with me.
This state bureaucracy needs to be more humble, and recognize its place in society. They are public servants, not masters and commanders. A sad example of bad attitude is: In Argentina, South America, the state employees held to their high paying jobs, drinking freely from the public trough, and refusing to make concessions to reality, even as their country sank into insolvency, with homes a quarter of their price, poverty and crime everywhere, unemployment terribly high. It will be a hard climb back up from national bankruptcy for proud Argentina. I feel there is a lesson here for all public employees.
To express myself more succinctly: the DNR should join me and follow me, in order to become more than what they are.
Some Yoopers think there is a difference between the Feds and the State, while others see little difference. Whatever, both should cooperate. At this time, it is hard to define “cooperate.”
I am hopeful that the Feds will follow along, if the Michigan Legislators can make a decision (fear appears to drive them so) and agree to this project. To me, the Feds are really a reflection of the people, and thus follow the strongest element of the people, which is the Michigan legislators, in this case.
