Through my wonderings I have seen much shoreline on Lake Superior... and I would persue this. I would not look at Lake Michigan though.

I tried to create a waterfall park in Marquette County. The State indicated a willingness to give land for trade to create the park, but the county refused to accept the gift. Who would care for them they thought.
